The European oak (Quercus) from the Fagaceae family. Well known and recognised by all, it is widespread throughout Europe. It is THE wood par excellence, resistant, rot-proof, easy to machine, stain and varnish. Colour : off-white to light brown. Uses for veneers : cabinet making, decorative panels, cladding. Available in a sanded finish.
